We are currently seeking a Data Protection & Cyber Resilience Strategy - Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

Strategic architect responsible for enterprise backup strategy, cyber resilience framework, governance, and roadmap planning. Provides leadership across multi-site/global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Data Protection & Cyber Resilience Strategy
• Architect large-scale backup environments (multi-PB, multi-DC)
• Lead Cyber Vault design, air-gap architecture, and ransomware recovery frameworks
• Drive digital transformation and backup modernization initiatives
• Define global backup standards, policies, governance, and compliance
• Evaluate and recommend new backup technologies and tools
• Lead cloud data protection strategy (Hybrid/Multi-cloud)
• Oversee large migrations (NetWorker/Avamar to modern platforms if applicable)
• Provide executive-level reporting on cyber readiness posture
• Lead audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships and technical escalations
• Provide thought leadership in automation and AI-driven backup analytics

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in NetWorker, Data Domain, Avamar, Acronis Cyber Protect
• Advanced Cyber Vault / Cyber Recovery architecture experience
• Strong ransomware recovery and immutable storage knowledge
• Strong scripting/automation and integration skills
• Experience with enterprise storage and networking concepts
• Budget planning and capacity modeling
• Strong stakeholder management

Preferred Certifications

• Dell EMC Master / Specialist Certifications
• CISSP (preferred for cyber resilience roles)
• Cloud Architect certifications

Optional Add-On: Common Skills Across All Levels

• Understanding Backup methodologies (Full, Incremental, Synthetic, Snapshot)
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Linux, Windows
• Familiarity with database backups (Oracle, SQL, SAP HANA)
• Incident management & change management experience
• Documentation and process improvement skills
