React Developer – Pega Constellation

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled React Developer with hands-on experience in Pega Constellation UI architecture to design and develop modern, responsive, and scalable user interfaces integrated with the Pega Platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, modern front-end development practices, and experience working with Pega Constellation architecture, DX APIs, and headless Pega implementations. The role requires close collaboration with Pega architects, backend developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development
•    Develop dynamic, reusable, and scalable UI components using React.js.
•    Implement responsive web applications using modern CSS frameworks.
•    Integrate front-end applications with Pega Constellation DX APIs.
•    Customize and extend Pega Constellation components as required.
•    Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Pega Constellation Integration
•    Work with Pega Constellation architecture and headless UI models.
•    Consume Pega DX APIs to render case data and workflows in custom React applications.
•    Collaborate with Pega System Architects to ensure seamless backend integration.
•    Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SSO, JWT).
•    Optimize API interactions and ensure efficient data rendering.
Architecture & Design
•    Participate in UI/UX design discussions and translate designs into high-quality code.
•    Define front-end architecture and coding standards.
•    Ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code structure.
•    Follow enterprise design patterns and accessibility standards.
Performance & Optimization
•    Optimize application performance and loading times.
•    Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and performance best practices.
•    Ensure application security and prevent common vulnerabilities.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
•    Work in Agile/Scrum teams.
•    Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
•    Conduct peer code reviews.
•    Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
•    5–8+ years of experience in front-end development.
•    3+ years of strong hands-on experience with React.js.
•    Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and DX APIs.
•    Strong proficiency in:
o    JavaScript (ES6+)
o    React Hooks, Context API
o    Redux / State management libraries
o    HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
o    REST API integration
•    Experience with Git and version control systems.
•    Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.

•    Experience with:
o    Pega Platform (v8.x+) and case management concepts
o    TypeScript
o    Next.js or similar frameworks
o    Material UI / Bootstrap / Tailwind
o    Micro-frontend architecture

•    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
•    Understanding of Pega guardrails and case lifecycle concepts.
•    Experience working in large enterprise environments.
