We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Lead Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

"Job Duties: A Data Modeler plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data structures to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

· Define relationships, data flows, and entity relationships to ensure efficient database architecture.

· Ensure data integrity, consistency, and normalization.

· Gather requirements from stakeholders to align data models with business needs.

· Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and engineers to design solutions.

· Present data models and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

· Design and implement data schemas in relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

· Optimize database performance, indexing, and query efficiency.

· Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration and integration.

· Ensure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and data governance frameworks.

· Work with compliance teams to align data models with regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

· Keep up with industry trends in data modeling, big data, and AI/ML.

· Recommend improvements to data architecture for scalability and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

· 8+ years experience in professional servies or related field

· 3+ years experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· 3+ years of experience working with SQL and data modeling tools.

· 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI & DAX Data Modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proven work experience as a Data Modeler

· Knowledge of database structure systems and data mining

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Understanding of agile methodologies

· Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred

· Ability to travel at least 25%

Minimum Skills Required: This is 3 positions for on or offshore PostgreSQL data engineer/developers. Helpful if they have DB2 experience as well."
