We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Development

• Analysis, design, and development and testing including full system design, estimating project hours and managing implementations.

Support

• Handles escalated problems with technical or process issues, both during normal and after hours.
• Provide problem analysis, measurement, and process methodology.
• Work with offshore development team on an as needed basis

Administrative

• Interact with Business Partners, internal and external, to design/develop solutions for business needs.
• Participate in team meetings and meetings with the business.
• Stay up to date with emerging technology trends, policies, and procedures to provide relevant architectural input and recommendations as needed.
• Other duties as needed/assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of Java/J2EE development using Spring Framework
• Experience with JavaScript Libraries (like jQuery), HTML, CSS
• Experience with the Eclipse and RAD Development Environment
• Exposure to Web Services development
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server
• Exposure to Unix/Linux
• 5+ years of experience working with databases.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Exposure to Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Veracode, Subversion
• IBM WebSphere (HCL Dig. Exp.) Portlet experience
• Experience working with MS SQL
• WebSphere Administration
• Exposure to IIS .Net is a plus.
