We are currently seeking a Digital Twin Engineer / Architect - NVIDIA Omniverse to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 

Global travel as required for client deployments

Experience:

5–12 years (minimum 2 years in Digital Twin / 3D simulation; 1+ year hands-on with Omniverse)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Digital Twin Engineer / Architect to lead the design and implementation of photorealistic, real-time 3D simulations using NVIDIA Omniverse. You will play a critical role in creating interactive, collaborative, and AI-powered digital twin experiences that fuse IoT data, CAD/BIM models, simulation frameworks, and AI/ML insights.


Key Responsibilities:

Digital Twin Development

  • Design, build, and deploy Digital Twins using NVIDIA Omniverse Kit, USD (Universal Scene Description), and Omniverse Nucleus.
  • Integrate CAD/BIM/ECAD models (e.g., Siemens NX, Revit, SolidWorks) with physics-based simulation.
  • Connect real-world data from IoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, MQTT, etc.) into the virtual twin for real-time updates and monitoring.
  • Implement bi-directional data sync between physical assets and digital environments.

Omniverse Platform Expertise

  • Develop custom Omniverse extensions or tools using Python and C++.
  • Collaborate using Omniverse Create, Isaac Sim, and Machinima for immersive simulation and robotics workflows.
  • Manage deployment of Nucleus Server for team collaboration and asset versioning.

Interoperability & Simulation

  • Integrate with real-time simulation engines (Unreal, Unity, or PhysX) and process control data.
  • Simulate operations, maintenance scenarios, predictive analytics, or energy flows in factory/plant layouts.

AI/ML & Data Integration

  • Work with AI/ML teams to embed prediction models within the Digital Twin environment.
  • Enable AI-driven what-if analysis, root cause analysis, and anomaly detection using simulation insights.

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Partner with product teams, digital thread experts, and OT/IT leads to define system architecture.
  • Translate business requirements into Digital Twin use cases for manufacturing, smart factory, energy, or infrastructure domains.

Required Skills:

  • 3D Modeling & Visualization:

Strong experience with USD, 3D pipelines, and tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.

  • NVIDIA Omniverse:

Hands-on experience with Omniverse Kit, Create, Nucleus, and optionally Isaac Sim.

  • Programming:

Python (mandatory), C++ (preferred), knowledge of scripting Omniverse extensions.

  • IoT & Data:

Familiarity with real-time data protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Kafka) and IoT platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).

  • Simulation & Physics Engines:

(Optional) Experience with physical simulations, collision detection, environment modelling.

  • Cloud & GPU Compute:

Experience deploying on GPU-enabled infrastructure (NVIDIA RTX/Orin/Jetson), Docker, and cloud platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in NVIDIA Omniverse, USD pipelines, or AI/Simulation in Digital Twins.
  • Experience with ROS2, Autoware, or robotics simulation (for mobility-focused twins).
  • Exposure to NVIDIA Isaac Sim, DeepStream, or Metropolis platforms.
  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, smart cities, or AEC domains.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR integrations or Unity/Unreal Engine.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional innovation teams.
  • Curiosity to experiment and prototype emerging technologies.
