ERP Senior Specialist

This role functions as a critical bridge between Finance business users and IT, ensuring the structural integrity of financial data across Oracle ERP Cloud or PeopleSoft environments. 

Job Summary:

The ERP Metadata Support Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP financial data structures, including the Chart of Accounts (CoA), hierarchies, and validation rules. Resource will collaborate with global Finance teams to translate business needs into technical metadata configurations and ensure seamless data flow between ERP and EPM (FCCS, Planning) systems. 

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage Chart of Accounts structures, including segment values and descriptions.
• Maintain Cross-Validation Rules and Security Rules to prevent invalid data entry.
• Manage Primary and Secondary Ledger mappings and reporting cube hierarchies.
• Maintain Customer and Supplier hierarchies to support consolidated reporting and credit management.
• Configure and update Payment Terms, distribution sets, and tax metadata.
• Manage Automated Reconciliation Rules to ensure sub-ledger to GL accuracy.
• Govern consolidation-specific metadata, including Intercompany (IC) elimination members and Legal Entity structures.
• Maintain account and entity hierarchies in Oracle EDMCS or DRM to ensure ERP and EPM synchronization.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance business owners and technical developers for system enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis on metadata-related integration failures between modules. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Functional and technical Expertise in PeopleSoft  ERP or ERP Cloud with PeopleSoft (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management).
• Proficiency in Oracle EDMCS, DRM, or PeopleSoft Tree Manager; advanced Excel/Smart View skills.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, and the Record-to-Report cycle.
