We are currently seeking a Factory Digital Twin Domain Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Position's General Duties and Tasks
In these roles you will be responsible for:
As a Domain Consultant on the Omniverse Project, you will apply deep expertise in automotive manufacturing and digital twin technologies to translate complex shopfloor and assembly processes into actionable digital models. You will work closely with engineering teams, simulation specialists, and business stakeholders to validate process flows, optimize assembly simulations, and ensure the digital twin aligns with real-world plant operations and business goals. Your role is critical in standardizing methodologies, supporting virtual build events, and championing process improvements through innovative simulation and validation techniques
Key Responsibilities include
- Digital Twin Process Mapping & Validation:
Lead the translation of automotive assembly and body shop processes into digital twin requirements, ensuring that Omniverse simulations and processes accurately represent physical plant operations - Assembly & Ergonomics Simulation:
Collaborate on assembly, ergonomics, and robotics simulations using tools such as NVIDIA Omniverse and 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA, and perform validations to recommend process or design changes for improved manufacturability and efficiency - Business Requirement Gathering:
Work with process owners, engineers, and product designers to collect and analyze business requirements for assembly shop and virtual factory domains. - Process Standardization & Methodology:
Develop and implement standardized methodologies for digital twin creation, process validation, and assembly simulations, supporting best practices in virtual build and plant planning. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Facilitate collaboration between domain experts, designers, and digital teams to ensure solutions are robust and drive measurable improvements in productivity and quality. - Process Optimization & Innovation:
Suggest process and design improvements based on simulation findings, supporting continuous improvement in automotive assembly and shop-floor operations. - Training, Change Management, and Knowledge Transfer:
Lead customer training sessions, prepare methods documentation, and support the migration and adoption of digital manufacturing solutions across teams and global locations. - Onsite/Offsite Engagements:
Participate in global project rollouts and virtual build events, working closely with international stakeholders and teams as needed
Requirements for this role include:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, digital twin implementation, or industrial engineering consulting.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital twin platforms (NVIDIA Omniverse, 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA, CATIA), assembly/ergonomics simulation, and process planning.
- Strong hands-on experience in translating product and process data into simulation scenarios, performing validations, and recommending improvements.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs (Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, etc.) or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Proven track record of leading business process validation, methodology development, and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks, global project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exposure to virtual build events, resource migration to digital platforms, and new method development for spatial twins or assembly simulations.
- Skills in German or other European languages (a plus for international projects).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Recognized certifications in digital manufacturing, PLM, or digital twin technologies.
