We are currently seeking a Infrastructure service Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

• Cloud Strategy and Planning:

Developing and executing a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals, including selecting appropriate cloud services and defining service level agreements (SLAs). 

• Cloud Resource Management:

Overseeing the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources (servers, storage, networks) to ensure optimal performance and availability. 

• Security and Compliance:

Implementing and managing security measures to protect cloud infrastructure, data, and applications from unauthorized access and cyber threats, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. 

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Continuously monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization to enhance efficiency and minimize costs. 

• Incident and Problem Management:

Responding to and resolving incidents related to cloud services, and proactively identifying and addressing the root causes of problems to prevent future occurrences. 

• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and conducting regular backup and recovery tests to ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure or outage. 

• Team and Vendor Management:

Managing teams of cloud specialists, providing guidance and support, and overseeing vendor relationships to ensure effective cloud operations. 

• Cost Management:

Monitoring cloud costs, identifying areas for cost optimization, and implementing strategies to minimize cloud spending. 

• Automation and DevOps:

Implementing automation to streamline cloud operations, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort, potentially leveraging DevOps practices. 

• Documentation and Knowledge Management:

Maintaining detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures for internal use and audits. 

Cloud-Specific Responsibilities:

• Cloud Service Selection:

Choosing the right cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) based on business needs and technical requirements. 

• Cloud Migration:

Planning and executing the migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to the cloud. 

• Cloud Optimization:

Optimizing cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. 

• Cloud Security and Compliance:

Ensuring that cloud environments meet security standards and regulatory requirements. 

• Cloud Cost Management:

Monitoring and managing cloud spending to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost control.
