We are currently seeking a Messaging Services Senior Specialist - Slack and Microsoft Teams Administrator to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Messaging Services senior Specialist applies a wide application of theories, concepts, and principles in identifying customer needs and managing and supporting systems. The Slack and Microsoft Teams Administrator is responsible for the configuration, management, and support of Slack and Microsoft Teams environments within the organization. This role ensures seamless communication and collaboration by administering user accounts, security settings, integrations, and troubleshooting platform issues. The administrator works closely with IT, security, and end-user teams to optimize the use of these collaboration tools, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end users
•    Understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.

•    Individuals understand their own area and can perform all facets of their role. Good analytical, excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Energetic, self-motivated and self-sufficient in accomplishing tasks.
•    Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.
•    Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.
•    Provides advanced technical support within area of expertise to clients on complex integration issues and is often in a lead role within major projects.
•    Participates in troubleshooting and resolution of client problems using integrated data processing and communication solutions. 
•    Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on technical matters.
•    Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools and procedures to accomplish job. 
•    Builds deeper understanding of processes, procedures, customers and organization
•    Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and environments, with a proactive approach to continuous learning

Technical Skillset
•    Creating, configuring, and managing new workspaces within a large organization (Enterprise Grid) for Slack
•    Centralized management of settings, policies, and permissions across all workspaces, including channel management tools and custom role creation
•    Configure, deploy, and maintain Slack and MS Teams platforms for all users.
•    Administer user accounts, permissions, licenses, and groups/channels/teams.
•    Monitor system health, performance, and usage metrics.
•    Manage integrations with third-party applications and internal systems.
•    Implement and enforce security measures, including data retention, compliance, and access controls.
•    Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
•    Coordinate with IT and security teams to manage updates, patches, and incident response.
•    Develop and maintain documentation on processes, configurations, and best practices.
•    Stay up-to-date with new features, updates, and industry trends for Slack and MS Teams.
•    Assist in the migration of data and users between platforms, if required.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and the Microsoft Graph API is preferred.
Qualification
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
•    5+ years of experience Slack and MS-Teams Administration
•    Slack certified administration and Microsoft 365 preferred.
