Microservices Developer

Role: Build and support containerized microservices under guidance; contribute to reliable, observable, and secure deployments.

Responsibilities:

Develop services (e.g., Java/Spring Boot or similar), containerize with Docker, and create Kubernetes objects/Helm charts with oversight.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and practice blue-green/canary rollouts; write unit/integration and basic contract tests.

Implement logging, tracing, metrics, and health checks; add retries/timeouts and basic circuit-breaking per standards.

Use CLIENT’s internal registry and observability tools; follow runbooks and respond to routine alerts.

Document services, configs, and APIs; participate in code reviews and brownfield refactors.

Requirements:

2–4 years total experience (typically ~3 years) with server-side development and Docker/Kubernetes fundamentals.

Comfortable with one backend stack (Java/.NET/Node.js/Go) and RESTful API design; basic messaging exposure.

Familiarity with CI/CD, environment promotion, and zero-downtime concepts.

Understanding of logging/tracing, health checks, and security basics (secrets, TLS, image scanning).

Collaborative mindset and steady delivery.
