We are currently seeking a Network Vulnerability management - Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Principle Network engineer /Network and System Specialist : Network Engineering
In this role, the successful candidate would be providing advanced expertise in a complex network security environment. Provides and maintains a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community. This will include maintaining and troubleshooting various network firewalls, proxies, appliances, responding promptly and effectively to customer problems and either directly resolving the problems or escalating to the appropriate resource and monitoring its effective resolution.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and documentation of enterprise-level, mission-critical, network infrastructure components.
- Provides and maintains a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community.
- Work on multiple projects and work streams concurrently to deliver projects on time .
- Respond to network incidents, troubleshoot to assess and provide remediation plans.
- Collaborate with third party service vendors to ensure Network stays operational.
- Participates in client/ external interactions on technical matters.
- Support queue management, preforming network system analysis and reporting.
- Secure network system by established organizational standard and enforcing policies.
- Evaluate new network technologies and participate in roadmap / architecture planning activities
- Should have good logical skills with experience in maintaining and troubleshooting large scale networks
- Being a team player and adhering to project schedule.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- 4+ Years of hands-on experience experience in an Network & Security environment supporting services (Networking, Firewall , Cloud -Azure/AWS and wireless )
- Must have managed large scale network and able to support and maintain networks with - Cisco routers ( ASR) and Catalyst ,Nexus switches , Cisco Firepower , Palo Alto firewall, Meraki wireless and switching
- Must be expert of routing, switching, wireless, LAN and WAN, i.e. L2 (Wireless IEEE 802.11 a, Ethernet, IEEE 802.1x std. STP, MSTP, RSTP, Dynamic VLAN, HSRP/VRRP.) / L3 (Routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.), NEXUS, SD-WAN
- Participate in the setup, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation of enterprise-level, mission-critical, network infrastructure components.
- Skills and knowledge and adherence to ITIL & Change Management processes
- Engage with internal business owners to relay information about the project and troubleshooting all issues & commits to deliverables with Business unit and / or management by meeting project deadlines.

- Rotating on-call, support queue management, preforming network system analysis and reporting
- Willing to work in 24X7 environment. - The candidate will also be required to work independently and remotely during a 9-hour shift, should be willing to work in rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and on call support.
- Additionally, the candidate must work well within a team, adapt easily to change, and possess the flexibility to travel. Candidate should have a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals.
- Good Communication skills with strong customer service skills; interfaces with internal business units , end users, partners and associates
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.
- Network and Security Certification – CCNP , Azure /AWS network certification , Meraki , Palo Alto
- ITIL v4 Foundation - certification in additional ITIL modules would be advantageous
