Job Description:
Join our Intelligent Process Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) as a Power Automate Solution Architect. In this critical role, you will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of solutions powered by Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with other members of the CoE and different business functions to address business challenges and opportunities. Leveraging your expertise in Power Platform technologies, you will help develop and scale our automation strategy, create architectural designs, and oversee the implementation of Power Automate projects and initiatives. Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand business requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
• Design scalable and efficient automation solutions aligned with business needs and strategic goals.
• Create architectural designs to outline the different components and technologies required to build Power Automate solutions.
Technical Expertise:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Stay current with advancements in Power Platform and recommend suitable technologies for specific use cases.
• Assess various Power Platform capabilities and third-party technologies to determine the most suitable ones for the specific use case and problem.
Proof of Concept (PoC):
• Lead the development of Power Automate PoCs to demonstrate feasibility and potential value.
• Present PoC results to clients, gathering feedback for iterative development.
• Assist in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of appropriate tools, platforms, and vendors for Power Platform initiatives.
Best Practices:
• Establish and promote best practices, design patterns, and coding standards for Power Automate solution development.
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, extensible, reusable, and well-documented.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and domain experts.
• Work with other enterprise architects to develop and communicate a clear automation strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Standards and Innovation:
• Implement and maintain architectural standards and best practices for the CoE’s Power Platform service offering.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Power Platform, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art solutions.
Required Experience and Skills:
• A minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in a similar or related role.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex Power Platform solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 apps, and related Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of automation fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed computing for scalable solution deployment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
• Experience developing end-to-end automation solutions.
• Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge and experience with third-party technologies integrated with Power Platform.
• Prior experience working on enterprise-scale Power Platform projects.
