Job Description: Salesforce QA Analyst


About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Analyst with strong functional testing experience across Salesforce clouds and business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating Salesforce configurations, workflows, integrations, and UI functionality while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform manual functional testing, UI testing, workflow validation, and end-to-end business process testing.
  • Conduct data validation, integration testing, and regression testing across Salesforce modules.
  • Work closely with business users to understand requirements and ensure complete coverage of lead-to-opportunity, case management, and marketing journey processes.
  • Validate business rules, security roles, profile permissions, and sharing settings.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and coordination with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure test documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with defined QA standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Salesforce.com Projects.
  • Should be expertise in Salesforce.com standard functionality and features (Sales, Services and Marketing).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality, including:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Marketing Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with manual Salesforce functional testing and UI testing.
  • Expertise in validating workflows, automation rules, data integrity, and integrations with external systems.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex Salesforce business processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (preferred)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of regression testing frameworks and UAT best practices.
  • Experience working in distributed teams (offshore/nearshore model).
