We are currently seeking a SAP ABAP BTP Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

You will be a key technical expert responsible for the core of our global B2B e-commerce solution. This platform is built on a robust SAP stack, with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 serving as the central middleware and business logic layer.

Your Responsibilities & Technical Tasks:

As a senior developer, you will go beyond simple coding. You will design, build, and maintain the engine that powers our e-commerce experience.

• Design and Develop APIs: Architect, create, and enhance mission-critical OData and RESTful services using the SAP NetWeaver Gateway. These services are the backbone of our e-commerce frontend and integrations.
• Build Robust Business Logic: Implement complex business processes (e.g., pricing, availability checks, order creation) using modern, Object-Oriented ABAP, ensuring code is clean, reusable, and performant.
• Integrate Core SAP Processes: Leverage your knowledge of BAPIs, IDocs, and other standard SAP interfaces to seamlessly connect our e-commerce layer with core ERP functionalities in Sales & Distribution (SD) and CRM.
• Ensure System Connectivity: Play a vital role in managing and developing interfaces between our on-premise SAP systems and various cloud solutions, utilizing tools like the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its connectivity services.
• Guarantee Quality and Stability: Champion development best practices, including writing automated tests (e.g., ABAP Unit) and participating in code reviews to maintain a high-quality, stable, and scalable platform.
• Collaborate and Orchestrate: Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, frontend developers, and external service providers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Your Profile: Skills & Experience

Core Qualifications (What you must bring):

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in ABAP development.
• Modern ABAP Expertise: Proven, hands-on proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP. You think in classes and interfaces.
• API & Gateway Mastery: Extensive experience in developing OData services and REST/HTTP services on the SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
• B2B Process Knowledge: Deep functional understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module, specifically related to B2B sales processes (e.g., order-to-cash, pricing conditions, contracts).
• Agile Mindset: Practical experience working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) and using corresponding tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. You are comfortable explaining complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications (What makes you stand out):

• Hybrid Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and connectivity tools like the SAP Cloud Connector.
• Broader SAP Knowledge: Functional knowledge of SAP SD and a solid understanding of SAP Basis and Authorization concepts.
• Future-Forward Outlook: Familiarity or experience with S/4HANA, demonstrating an understanding of SAP's strategic direction.
• Quality Assurance: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for ABAP.
• Problem-Solving Acumen: Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field.
