Job Title
SAP S/4HANA Transformation – CS / SD Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA CS / SD Consultant to support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects. The consultant will work under the guidance of a Module Lead or Solution Architect and contribute to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post–go-live stabilization of Customer Service (CS) and Sales & Distribution (SD) processes.
This role focuses on hands-on functional delivery across Service-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
Key Responsibilities
SAP CS & SD Configuration
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA SD processes including:
- Sales Order Management
- Pricing and Condition Techniques
- Delivery, Shipping, and Billing
- Credit Management (basic exposure)
- Configure and support SAP CS processes including:
- Service Notifications and Service Orders
- Service Contracts and Warranties
- Resource-related billing
- Support CS–SD integration for service and billing processes.
S/4HANA Transformation Support
- Support ECC to S/4HANA conversions or greenfield implementations.
- Apply S/4HANA SD and CS simplifications, Fiori apps, and embedded analytics.
- Assist in Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and requirement clarification.
Integration & Collaboration
- Work closely with MM, WM/EWM, TM, PM, and FI/CO teams to ensure end-to-end integration.
- Support Business Partner (BP) and customer master data configuration and validation.
- Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, CPI, middleware) on RICEFW objects and interfaces.
Testing & Data Migration
- Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for CS and SD scenarios.
- Support UAT, defect resolution, and business user clarification.
- Assist with data migration validation for customers, service contracts, and open documents.
Go-Live & Hypercare
- Support cutover activities for open sales orders, service orders, contracts, and billing.
- Provide hypercare support, troubleshooting CS / SD issues post go-live.
- Document issues, resolutions, and process changes.
Documentation & Methodology
- Prepare and maintain:
- Functional specifications
- Configuration documents
- Test scripts and user guides
- Follow SAP Activate methodology and project documentation standards.
Required Skills & Experience
SAP CS & SD Expertise
- 5–8 years of SAP functional experience in:
- SAP SD (Order-to-Cash)
- SAP CS (Service Management)
- At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project
- Strong understanding of sales and customer service processes
S/4HANA & Service Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with:
- S/4HANA SD configuration
- CS integration with SD and FI
- Business Partner (BP) concept
- Exposure to S/4HANA Service Management or FSM is a plus.
- Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA or SAP SD / CS certification
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology
- Industry exposure to Manufacturing, Utilities, Automotive, or Industrial Equipment
- Exposure to PM or EWM is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in onshore–offshore and multi-country delivery models
- Willingness to learn and adapt to S/4HANA innovations
