NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SAP SPP APO Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).




Services Parts Planning is a new application in SCM. It is the planning part of Service Parts Management solution. It consists of the following modules:

  1. Forecasting
  2. Inventory Planning
  3. Distribution Requirements Planning
  4. Deployment
  5. Inventory Balancing
  6. Surplus & Obsolescence Planning
  7. Reporting and Monitoring

As we do not have a specific JD of SPP, have included the MM JD


  • PLA_ Technofunctional, CIF, SPP Technical
  • Need hands on experience in Services Parts Planning
  • Knowledge of APO mandate so he can be trained in SPP
  • 5+ Yrs of Hands-On experience in customizing SAP modules (Procurement, IM & LIV))
  • Experience working in a medium to large SAP landscape comprising multiple systems
  • Proven experience on working in SAP implementation and support projects
  • Should be able to independently design new solutions
  • Exposure to integration with other SAP modules
  • Experience in co-ordinating with development team
  • Basic exposure to ALE , IDOC’s
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Project / team management experience
  • Very strong oral & written communication Skills



    • SAP Certification
    • At-least 3 to 4 implementations of ECC5 or ECC 6


Job Level Specific Duties
• Defines overall application functional / business requirements with end users. Recommends solution modifications, configurations, and processes.

• Implements, designs and / or upgrades applications.

• Creates test plans for projects.

• Analyzes model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolve.

• Establishes cost and time estimates for development and implementation of projects. • Produces business process flow charts.

• Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

• Acts a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.

• Mentors less experienced team members.

Typical Years of Experience
• Typically requires 5-7 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Strong knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture. Strong analytical / problem solving skills.

• Ability to identify and evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective. • Exceptional influencing and communication skills. Exceptional ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources. Excellent client service attitude and leadership capabilities.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.

• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
