QA Lead – Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Cloud Advanced Migration

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the overall test strategy covering SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Build and maintain a test plan aligned to the project timeline and go-live criteria
  • Write detailed test cases from functional specifications and user stories produced by the BA
  • Manage test environments in coordination with the architect and developer team
  • Execute and coordinate SIT; track defects, manage triage, and verify fixes
  • Facilitate UAT with business stakeholders — schedule sessions, provide test scripts, capture results
  • Maintain defect log in JIRA or equivalent; report defect trends and quality metrics to the PM
  • Define and execute regression test suite for each release and patch
  • Validate data migration outputs — completeness, accuracy, and referential integrity
  • Produce go/no-go quality report ahead of each cutover milestone

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years QA experience on Salesforce or enterprise CRM projects
  • Experience with Salesforce test automation tools (Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar)
  • Experience testing CPQ, quoting, or order management processes
  • Strong test case writing skills — able to derive test scenarios from complex business rules
  • Defect management experience in JIRA or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Salesforce sandbox management and data seeding
  • Experience coordinating UAT with non-technical business users

Nice to Have

  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • Prior QA involvement on a CPQ-to-RCA or CPQ-to-Vlocity migration
  • Performance testing experience on Salesforce (large quote/order volume scenarios)

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented with a low tolerance for ambiguity in test coverage
  • Comfortable pushing back on go-live readiness when quality criteria are not met
  • Clear communicator — able to translate defect trends into business risk language for the PM and stakeholders
  • Collaborative with developers during defect triage without losing objectivity
