We are currently seeking a Security Center Operations Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Description:

Palo Alto, Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve L2 incidents related to Palo Alto NGFW.
Manage and troubleshoot:
Security policies and NAT policies
App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID
URL Filtering and Threat Prevention
WildFire and Anti-Spyware profiles
GlobalProtect VPN
Site-to-Site IPsec VPN
Perform firewall policy creation, modification, review, and cleanup.
Troubleshoot routing, connectivity, NAT, SSL/TLS decryption, and application access issues.
Investigate firewall logs and security events using Panorama.
Manage address objects, service objects, tags, and security profiles.
Support firewall HA troubleshooting and failover activities.
Participate in firewall upgrades, backups, and configuration validation.
Escalate complex issues to L3, vendors, or OEM support.

Incident & Operational Responsibilities

    • Handle L2 incidents within defined SLA timelines.
    • Perform detailed root cause analysis for recurring issues.
    • Coordinate with L1, L3, application teams, network teams, and vendors.
    • Participate in major incident management and troubleshooting bridges.
    • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
    • Perform shift handovers and provide clear incident updates.
    • Support planned maintenance, changes, and security activities.

Required Skills

    • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Panorama.
    • Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and routing.
    • Experience with VPN technologies: IPsec and GlobalProtect.
    • Hands-on knowledge of ZIA and ZPA.
    • Understanding of SASE and Zero Trust architecture.
    • Experience troubleshooting proxy, web filtering, and authentication issues.
    • Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis.
    • Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
Good communication and documentation skills.
