We are currently seeking a Senior Devops Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Title: Techno Functional Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation, cloud platforms, containerization, and continuous delivery practices, ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments
• Integrate security and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices)

Containerization & Orchestration

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes
• Optimize container performance and ensure high availability

Cloud Infrastructure

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Manage networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments

Artifact & Repository Management

• Manage binary repositories using JFrog Artifactory
• Ensure version control, artifact storage, and dependency management best practices

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot system and application issues in production environments
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid experience with cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services
• Experience with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory

Scripting & Automation

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)

DevOps Practices

• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability scanning tools
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Certification in AWS or Kubernetes (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Typically 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-availability environments
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities for junior engineers
