We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, ESM, GSM, and SecOps, (atleast exposure to 2-3 skillsets)and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.


Key Responsibilities:
•    implementation of ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM modules.
•    Gather and analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
•    Design and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules including:
o    Incident Management
o    Problem Management
o    Change Management
o    Request Fulfillment
o    Knowledge Management
•    Utilize infrastructure knowledge to optimize Discovery configurations and troubleshooting connectivity issues 
•    Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules.
•    Implement and optimize ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
•    Configure and deploy ITOM components like Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB.
•    Build and maintain CSM workflows for customer-facing services.
•    Design and support ESM and GSM solutions to streamline enterprise-wide service delivery.
•    Integrate and manage SecOps modules for vulnerability response and security incident management.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
•    Ensure platform upgrades and patching are executed smoothly with minimal disruption.
•    Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams.
•    Adhere to security and compliance standards in all ServiceNow configurations.
•    Demonstrate expert-level understanding of infrastructure components and security measures, including servers, networks, storage, firewalls, virtualization technologies, and cloud environments
•    Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper access and permissions for Discovery (firewall/permissions)
•    Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on CMDB initiatives
•    Understanding ServiceNow Discovery and credential management
•    Understanding Service portfolio management and mapping on ServiceNow.
•    Experience in setting up ITSM to ensure CMDB data supports efficient service delivery related to infrastructure
•    Define and document CMDB data models, ownership, and governance processes.
•    Integrate ServiceNow with infrastructure monitoring, discovery tools, and third-party platforms (e.g., SCCM, SolarWinds, AWS, Azure).
•    Establish and enforce best practices for ITIL-based processes and CMDB hygiene.
•    Develop and execute test plans, user training, and change management strategies.
•    Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements to ServiceNow platform.
•    Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Experience:
•    5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform
•    Experience with IntegrationHub and third-party integrations.
•    Exposure to Service Portal development and UI customization.
•    Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
•    Proven experience in greenfield or large-scale ServiceNow environment
•    Deep understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow.
•    Strong hands-on skills in configuring ServiceNow modules and workflows.
•    Experience with CMDB Discovery, Service Mapping, and CI lifecycle management.
•    Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and data imports.
•    Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.
•    ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required.
•    ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM or CMDB) – Preferred.
•    ITIL Foundation Certification – Preferred.

•    Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
