We are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Senior AWS Cloud developer & DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer to support the design, development, automation, deployment, and operational excellence of enterprise-scale Amazon Connect solutions. The role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, container platforms, and cloud-native application development, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient customer contact center solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and security validation.
- Develop and support microservices, APIs, serverless applications, and event-driven architectures.
- Configure and manage AWS services including Amazon Connect, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, and related services.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Implement monitoring, observability, logging, and operational automation to ensure platform reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Enforce cloud security, governance, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and production support activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Excellent understanding of Cloud architecture and services in AWS, GCP, MS Azure and MO365.
- SME in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, libraries & frameworks.
- Advanced expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical & debugging skills.
- Advanced knowledge of microservices-based software architecture & experience in API product development,
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud platform and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, or other automation languages.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong understanding of networking, IAM, security controls, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile and distributed delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent AWS certification.
- Experience in large-scale Contact Center Transformation programs.
- Exposure to AWS Lex, AI/ML integrations, and customer self-service automation.
- Experience with multi-environment and multi-region AWS deployments.
