Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, with expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL. The candidate should be capable of supporting end-to-end marketing automation initiatives and ensuring seamless campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to support marketing campaigns and business initiatives.
- Design and build Marketing Cloud Journeys from scratch using Journey Builder.
- Develop automation activities using complex SQL queries within Automation Studio.
- Deploy and migrate Marketing Cloud journeys across different environments.
- Create and optimize AMPscript and SSJS scripts for personalized and dynamic content delivery.
- Conduct thorough testing of marketing journeys, including A/B testing, to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Perform rollout and technical go-live activities for marketing journeys and provide post-deployment support.
- Build and manage email templates using Content Builder.
- Perform Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrative activities such as user management, domain management, security setup, and access control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable marketing solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, enhancements, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud data model and integration concepts.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Journey Builder
- Automation Studio
- Content Builder
- Contact Builder
- Email Studio
- Proficiency in AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
- Strong SQL skills with experience in developing complex queries for segmentation and automation.
- Experience in journey deployment, migration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and campaign management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Mandatory Certifications
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of data extensions, subscriber management, and personalization strategies.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
