We are currently seeking a Software Development Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API based applications.
•    Perform functional, system, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
•    Validate APIs using browser network tools and platforms such as Swagger.
•    Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright.
•    Write and maintain unit and integration tests using TestNG and JUnit.
•    Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
•    Execute load and performance tests using frameworks such as Gatling.
•    Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and XRAY, and ensure timely closure.
•    Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
•    Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and release sign-off documents.
•    Contribute in all phases of the testing lifecycle and support continuous improvement of QA processes.

•    Technical Skill

Expertise in following technical areas is MUST.

•    Testing Types: Manual Testing, Functional Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing
•    Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright
•    Programming Language: Java (Core Java up to Collections)
•    Test Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit
•    API Testing: API validation using browser network tab and Swagger
•    CI/CD: GitHub Actions
•    Performance Testing: Gatling or similar load testing frameworks
•    Defect Management: JIRA with XRAY
•    Version Control: GitHub.

Expertise in following areas is good to have.

•    Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing
•    Basic understanding of microservices architecture
•    Exposure to Docker and cloud-based test environments
•    Knowledge of test data management and mocking frameworks

Other Skill

•    In-depth understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and SDLC
•    Ability to convert business requirements into clear and effective test scenarios
•    Good understanding of application architecture and web technologies
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Good communication and documentation skills
•    Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

Automotive domain knowledge in after sales process is an added advantage
