We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Java Full Stack Developer 

The Java/Full Stack Developers will work on a modern technology stack centered around AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and React. Strong programming capability is essential as this role focuses on building scalable, secure, enterprise‑grade cloud applications.

This team will partner closely with existing engineering staff to build a new Client Engagement Application leveraging AWS-native services, with a phased delivery starting in June. The project is part of a broader platform modernization initiative that involves collaboration with multiple global teams, making strong communication and coordination essential.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

Core Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in building cloud-native applications on AWS, including:
  • Designing and developing applications using AWS-managed services.
  • Deploying applications on cloud environments with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Building RESTful and microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of key AWS services:
  • EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation/IaC, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.
• Ability to design and build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud applications adhering to AWS best practices (Well Architected Framework).
• Experience with application deployments, including blue/green or rolling deployments on AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure components, including networking basics, IAM, VPC, and security groups.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices-based architecture.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle and Maven.
• Strong understanding of coding best practices, design patterns, and anti-patterns.
• Ability to articulate complex technical problems and propose iterative solutions.
• Comfortable working in highly agile, iterative development environments.
• Proven experience owning applications end-to-end—from design to deployment.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication for a distributed and largely asynchronous environment.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of operating independently.
• Highly organized with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills to work across globally distributed teams.

Work Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including developing and deploying cloud-native applications.
• 4+ years of strong software development experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• 3+ years working with microservices and the Spring ecosystem.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and relational/columnar databases.
• Some  experience with web UI development (React) is an added advantage.
• Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Excellent coding and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
