We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer with 6–9 years of expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of EDI standards, integration technologies, and experience working with business partners to deliver reliable B2B integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support EDI interfaces and B2B integrations.
• Develop and maintain EDI transactions such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and flat files.
• Configure and manage trading partner setups, communication protocols, and mappings.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical EDI solutions.
• Monitor EDI transactions and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for EDI failures.
• Collaborate with business users, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and support documents.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data integrity standards.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in EDI development and support.
• Strong experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and flat file integrations.
• Expertise in EDI mapping tools such as IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling Gentran, Seeburger, OpenText, Boomi, MuleSoft, or SAP PI/PO/CPI.
• Experience with communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S, OFTP, and VAN.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP web services, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
