NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Systems Administration Senior Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).



Day to Day Operations
• Perform Daily Oversight
o Incident Management (driving incidents to resolution for backups and assignment of incidents to larger team, keeping the queue moving after normal business hours 8-5 US ET)
o Change and Request Validation (Server provision, decommission)
o Monitor all backups and report missed, failures and manual intervention
o Follow the Sun support model outside of 8-5ET US (India Team 4 people US Team 8 people)
• Developing SOPs, checklists, guides, best practices and procedures to support the infrastructure
• Thorough understanding of Active Directory principals and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of patching and updating tools such as SCCM
• Performing patch management for servers and infrastructure devices
• Planning software pushes using approved enterprise patch management software
• Distributing packages to test groups
• Troubleshooting software package deployment
• Deploying packages to required bases
• Reporting status of software pushes
• Ensuring servers and infrastructure devices have latest approved patches
• Developing SOPs, checklists, guides, best practices and procedures to support patch management
• Automating procedures using scripts
• Serve in on-call rotation being first call resolution for major incidents
• Be available (online) either at the office or home
Required Skills

• Rubrik Backup
• Splunk
• Understanding of concepts of Azure or other Cloud Computing platform
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent verbal, written and technical report writing skills in English
• Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team and perform effectively as key system administrator for a single large insurance client
• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision
• Good time management skills, prioritizing and multitasking
• Experience with laptop and/or virtual desktop performing day to day operations support for server hardware and software support and troubleshooting
• Experience with Excel, preparing metrics including using macros
• 24X7 Operation All Shifts Rotation and On-Call
