We are currently seeking a Sr. Offshore UI/UX Designer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Job Duties: Design Leads are leaders within the Design organization, leading projects and teams within their project areas
· Partner with clients and colleagues to understand UX problems and define solutions that balance business objectives, user needs, and technical restraints.
· Design end to end user experiences through research, personas development, wireframe mock-ups, interactions flows and prototypes, and specification documents.
· Design and lead user testing and usability research and deliver insights and actionable results.
· Work in partnership with strategy, creative and technology associates, and the client, to understand business objectives, user goals, customer targets, technical platforms and capabilities, and translates that into a user experience strategy and framework.
· Present designs and artifacts to clients and internal stakeholders.
· Develop and communicate standard UI patterns
· Illustrate user experience concepts (experience models, personas, user flows, site maps, storyboards, and prototypes, etc.)
· Contribute to all aspects of design including requirement defining, user research, workflow diagramming, detailed design, development of use cases and scenarios, and engineering support.
· Partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics.
· Your impact will be a force multiplier, amplifying efforts to improve our design
· Mentor, influence and coach other designers
· Plan, design, facilitate, and synthesize design workshops. · Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to designers
· Publish articles, conduct lunch & learns, etc. to evangelize our practice and service offerings
· Foster NES team’s culture and beliefs in the team and create a work environment that is fun, fast paced and fulfilling
Minimum Skills Required: Basic Qualifications:
7+ years in a client-facing, UX Designer or Information Architect role
· Bachelor's degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or work experience
· 7+ years of an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating solid experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
· Experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests needed
· 7+ years' experience in one or more of the following: common design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
· Strong experience interacting with clients highly preferred.
· Experience with Agile and/or Scrum development methods.
· Strong familiarity with deliverables such as user research analysis, use cases and scenarios, flows, detailed designs, annotations, and design systems
· Resources to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
· Talent to produce clear, user-centric design across mobile, desktop, web and hardware endpoints.
· Strong facilitation skills for leading user experience driven projects from discovery to completion
· Demonstrated skills creating highly detailed process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
· Strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
· A desire to take a leading role in a rapidly growing and evolving design team, helping shape its culture and operations
· Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
· Comprehension to think strategically and transform current engagements into larger opportunities
· Capability to partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints
