Job Description for MAC Support

Systems Engineer with experience managing a Mac presence in Enterprise environments. This person will be responsible for maintaining compliance with published and in-house created STIGs, patching and health checks of the Mac environment, assisting senior engineers with maintenance and enhancement of a Managed Mac Environment and interfacing with Tier 2 technicians for escalated support cases. Along with assisting with the management of the Mac environment, the selected candidate will also be responsible for assisting with other engineering tasks in the department. Responsibilities

• Update, test and maintain compliance with Mac STIGs
• Manage scripts, application packages and data services for Mac environment
• Assist with managing patching process for Mac environment
• Extensive knowledge and certifications in Mac OS X Operating Systems
• Active Directory management
• Login script creation and maintenance
• Virtual desktop management
• Experience with Mac enterprise management systems such as Jamf, Intune & WS One.
• JAMF Administrator Support including Server Management and Upgrades.

• Intune and/or Workspace One Administrator Support for Apple products
• Experience in JAMF Cloud (NOW/Pro) support and Maintenance.
• Experience in Intune and/or Workspace One for managing Apple Products.
• Lead MaaS (Mac as a Service) delivery as the administrator/lead engineer.
• Creation, Support, Implementation, and distribution of Mac OSX “Thin Image.”
• Knowledge in Packaging for Mac using BASH  Composer, X-Code, Terminal Packaging.
• Hardware & Platform Independent Images using Mac Technology.
• JAMF (also Intune and/or Workspace One) Creation, Support & Implementation for Mac Thin Imaging.
• Replication of Distribution Points/SMB Shares.
• End to End Project Mac Management following the process starting with documentation (SOW) till the Product Delivery.
• Running Reports using Custom Queries,
• Should have advanced understanding of Policy Management and Policy creation.
• Developed Custom Mac policies as per the client’s requirement.
• Recommend driver management best practices.
• Incident Management, Tracking & Solution for any issues related to the Engineered Solution.
• Designing & Implementing Enterprise Solutions for Enterprise Customers with Server Support.
• Provide recommendations for automation and modern endpoint management approaches.
• Sound knowledge in Shell/Bash script to customize payloads in JAMF.
• Knowledge in Security Hardening of Mac Devices using JAMF (also Intune and/or Workspace One).

Qualifications

06-08 years of total experience with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Demonstrates an understanding of current scripting technologies and Mac Environment.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of managing JAMF Suite of applications.

Knowledge on managing Mac using Intune/WS One will have added advantage.

In-depth knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.

Ability to identify, define, manage and control configuration.

"ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior SCCM/Intune Engineer to join NTT DATA's India EPM Delivery Centre. This senior individual contributor role requires deep technical expertise in designing and operating enterprise endpoint management platforms for NTT DATA's global clients. The engineer will drive complex migrations, lead technical workstreams, mentor junior engineers, and serve as an SME across SCCM, Intune, and co-management scenarios. This role is a key technical anchor for the India EPM team, supporting accounts across US, UK, Australia, and APAC geographies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Architecture & Design
•    Design and implement SCCM/ConfigMgr hierarchy including site server topology, DP placement, and boundary configuration for enterprise global environments.
•    Architect Microsoft Intune tenant configuration including enrollment profiles, policy sets, compliance frameworks, and Conditional Access design.
•    Lead SCCM-to-Intune co-management configuration and workload transition planning for client migration engagements.
•    Design Windows Autopilot deployment profiles for Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) at scale.
•    Define EPM platform standards, configuration baselines, and governance frameworks for NTT DATA client accounts.
Advanced Patch Management
•    Architect and manage enterprise patch management programs using SCCM ADRs, Intune WUfB, and Expedite policies.
•    Define patching governance including SLAs, exception processes, emergency patching procedures, and compliance reporting.
•    Lead vulnerability remediation integration with Qualys/Tenable — mapping CVEs to patch deployment cycles.
•    Manage third-party patch management using SCCM or integrated tools for non-Microsoft software.
•    Present patch compliance posture and risk metrics to client stakeholders and delivery management.
•    Develop and maintain patching runbooks, escalation procedures, and operational documentation.
OS Deployment & Modern Provisioning
•    Lead enterprise Windows 10/11 migration and in-place upgrade projects end-to-end for global client accounts.
•    Design and manage complex OSD task sequences with MDT integration, driver management, and post-deployment automation.
•    Architect Windows Autopilot + Intune provisioning workflows for large-scale device refresh programs.
•    Define image standards, golden image build processes, and version management policies.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex OSD failures across diverse hardware platforms and global network conditions.
Automation & Scripting
•    Develop advanced PowerShell automation for SCCM operations — collection queries, deployment automation, health monitoring, and reporting.
•    Build Intune Graph API integrations for bulk device operations, policy reporting, and automated compliance workflows.
•    Author and maintain WQL/SQL queries for SCCM inventory analysis, compliance dashboards, and operational reporting.
•    Develop reusable automation frameworks and contribute to the NTT DATA EPM India practice tooling library.
Leadership & Governance
•    Serve as technical lead and L3 escalation point for complex endpoint incidents across assigned client accounts.
•    Mentor Grade 6–8 engineers, conduct technical knowledge transfer sessions, and contribute to team capability development.
•    Participate in client governance reviews, delivery calls, and technical steering discussions from India delivery centre.
•    Contribute to SOW definition, effort estimation, and technical proposal development for EPM engagements.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives and platform health improvement programs for managed accounts.
REQUIRED SKILLS
•    Microsoft SCCM/ConfigMgr — site hierarchy, OSD, patch management, applications, reporting (expert)
•    Microsoft Intune — full MDM/MAM lifecycle, compliance, Autopilot, WUfB, co-management (expert)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) — required or equivalent enterprise experience
•    Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Security-related certifications
•    Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Analytics and Intune Advanced Analytics
•    Prior delivery experience supporting global enterprise accounts from India (10,000+ endpoints)
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/B.Sc. CS or IT) from a recognised Indian university. Relevant Microsoft certifications and equivalent senior-level enterprise experience will be considered."
