We are currently seeking a Systems Engineering Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Semperis ADFR Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Semperis ADFR infrastructure.
• Monitor daily backup and recovery operations.
• Ensure AD backup integrity and recovery readiness.
• Manage backup repositories, retention policies, and storage utilization.
• Troubleshoot ADFR-related issues and coordinate vendor support when required. 

Active Directory Recovery Operations

• Conduct Active Directory Forest Recovery (ADFR) testing and validation.
• Execute domain and forest recovery drills.
• Maintain recovery runbooks and operational procedures.
• Support restoration activities during cyber incidents and disaster recovery events.
• Ensure compliance with defined RTO and RPO objectives. 

Cybersecurity & Incident Response

• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, and Cyber Defense teams.
• Support ransomware and cyber recovery initiatives.
• Validate recovered environments before production deployment.
• Assist in forensic analysis and remediation of compromised Active Directory environments.
• Ensure recovery processes eliminate persistence mechanisms and unauthorized changes. 

Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitor backup jobs, alerts, and recovery readiness dashboards.
• Generate weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Track backup success rates and recovery testing metrics.
• Provide recommendations for improving cyber resilience and recovery processes

Disaster Recovery Planning

• Maintain Active Directory Disaster Recovery documentation.
• Participate in tabletop exercises and DR simulations.
• Review and update recovery strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams during recovery exercises.
