We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

The environment is challenging in that there are multiple O/S platforms – mainly focused on Windows and RHEL.   In addition, the area is relatively new.  We are currently adopting a hybrid working model.  Individual’s need to be self-motivated, positive while not afraid to challenge the status quo,  forward-thinking and not shy in speaking their minds.

Absolute essential ‘must have’ key skillsets:
• Git(git usage and commands)
• Jenkins(DSL &  Pipeline as a code)
• Ansible Playbook & role development
• Terraform (Infrastructure as code)

Useful to have:
• Python &/or other development languages
• AWS/Azure experience and appropriate qualifications

• Experience with POSTMAN or any relevant tool

1. Develop and implement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain a robust DevOps framework that promotes continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
2. Infrastructure management: Design, build, and manage the infrastructure and configuration management systems required for efficient software development and deployment, including cloud platforms, servers, networks, and monitoring tools.
3. Continuous integration and deployment: Establish and maintain automated build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.
4. Collaboration and communication: Foster collaboration and effective communication between development, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
5. Monitoring and troubleshooting: Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability and availability.
6. Security and compliance: Implement and maintain security measures and best practices throughout the development and deployment process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
7. Automation and optimization: Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, and implement tools and technologies to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and reduce manual efforts.
8. Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper knowledge transfer.

Qualification
9. Cloud experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS & Openstack ) and a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures, services, and deployment models.
10. DevOps tools and practices: In-depth knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
11. System administration: Familiar with Linux/Windows Operating systems and the likes of shell scripting
12. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analyse complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
13. Collaboration and communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
14. Knowledge of agile methodologies: Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in agile teams.

15. Familiar with API's : Knowledge on API Testing to validate the functionality using different tools like POSTMAN.

16. Strong Debugging skills : In-depth knowledge in debugging issues related to API Connectivity .
