We are currently seeking a Tech Consultant - AI Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Title: Tech Consultant – AI Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying production-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, Machine Learning, LLMs, RAG, APIs, and cloud-based AI platforms.

The role will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders to develop scalable AI solutions and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Build and integrate LLM-powered applications using enterprise and external data sources.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop AI services, Microservices, and REST APIs using Python.
• Implement prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and context-management techniques.
• Develop data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation pipelines.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business workflows.
• Evaluate model and LLM performance for accuracy, quality, latency, reliability, and cost.
• Deploy and operate AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, evaluation, and observability for production AI applications.
• Develop automated testing and CI/CD processes for AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot production AI/ML issues and continuously improve model and application performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and production releases.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Machine Learning frameworks, and production AI/ML development.
• 2+ years of experience developing Generative AI, LLM, RAG, or AI-enabled applications.
• 2+ years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Core Technical Skills

• Programming: Python, SQL
• AI/ML: Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar
• Generative AI: LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Embeddings
• AI Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar
• Vector Search: Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, pgvector or similar
• API Development: REST APIs, Microservices
• Cloud AI: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI
• Data: Data Processing, Feature Engineering, Model Pipelines
• DevOps/MLOps: Git, CI/CD, Model Deployment & Monitoring

Nice to Have

• Experience building Agentic AI solutions and AI agents.
• Experience with tool/function calling and multi-step AI workflows.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs.
• Experience developing production-grade RAG solutions with retrieval evaluation and optimization.
• Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, tracing, monitoring, and observability.
• Knowledge of AI guardrails, prompt-injection prevention, data privacy, and Responsible AI.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, or Snowflake.
• Experience with MLOps and model lifecycle management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, or other enterprise domains.
• Strong analytical, software engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills.
