We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst - Data Analytics to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Duties: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join the team to help us shape and deliver a roadmap that will grow and develop SGN’s analytics capabilities.
This position requires an energetic and highly focused individual with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and successful previous experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
We’re looking for an individual who enjoys working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders - the ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical, business, and people skills.
You will act as a ‘translator’ between business, data analytics and other technology teams ensuring that business requirements are translated into appropriate technical documentation to support delivery.

Key responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain productive cross-functional relationships with a network of IT delivery teams, business stakeholders and external suppliers.
2. Help SGN to mature and grow its Analytics Data Platform capabilities, products, and solutions by taking a lead role on key activities through the full project lifecycle, including but not limited to:
a. Maintaining a prioritised pipeline of new demand items and features requests for existing products and solutions.
b. Creating and delivering content in workshops and seminars - confidently present ideas, concepts, and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
c. Facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation (including senior management) to elicit, clarify, translate, and document business requirements (functional and non-functional) as well as generate user stories.
d. Supporting business case development through the analysis of business requirements. This includes establishing standardized templates and processes for providing work effort estimates.
e. Analysing and documenting business requirements and working with relevant teams to create appropriate technical documentation to facilitate the necessary governance approvals and underpin delivery of the project.
f. Collaborating with a range of technical and non-technical audiences to quality assure delivery through testing and into release ensuring the end-product meets the documented business requirements. Providing a link between product owners and the Data & Analytics team throughout the development lifecycle.
g. Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to feed back into the pipeline
3. Contribute to the design and delivery of proof of concept, proof of technology and protype projects.
4. Provide thought leadership and help to foster collaborative development.
5. Identify opportunities to drive self-serve adoption of our products and services and enablement of business teams to be more self-sufficient in meeting their Data & Analytics requirements.
6. Supervise, coach and mentor other team members

Minimum Skills Required: Essential Skills & Expertise
1. Degree level education in a relevant subject (e.g. data science, computer science, business analysis)

3. A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle
4. Demonstrable experience of the following:
a. Understanding and experience of business analysis skills, techniques, and practices
b. Querying, reviewing, and manipulating large quantities of data using Python, SQL, and Excel.
c. Requirements elicitation (both functional and non-functional) and user story generation, ideally in the context of data analytics
d. Analysing and documenting complex business processes with a strong data focus
e. Project methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile
f. The tools, principles, and best practices techniques appropriate to requirements gathering, analysi
