We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager-Node.js to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Description:
We are looking for a Node.js technical Leader with extensive experience in backend development using Node.js. The selected individual will be responsible for supervising a new team in India of senior technicians with the following responsibilities.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Design, sometimes develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Node.js, ensuring code quality and good development practices.
2. Review and technical support to the team to ensure that the developments of this team come out with the expected quality complying with the standards set by the core team.
3. Report and coordinate with the technical manager of the core team to define and agree on solutions.
4. Lead and manage an agile squad, within a multi-squad ecosystem that is highly dependent on each other, guiding developers in task estimation, problem solving and ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
5. Collaborate closely with core, frontend, design, and product teams to ensure smooth and effective integration.
6. Monitor and improve the performance of applications in production, applying innovative solutions to ensure their stability and scalability.
7. Foster an environment of continuous learning within the team, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the development of technical skills and soft skills.
 
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/ Information Science/Telecommunications)
2. 12+ years of work experience in IT Industry and strong knowledge in implementing/designing solutions using s/w application technologies
3. Minimum 8+ years of Node.js and JavaScript development, experience with RESTful APIs, and both relational and NoSQL databases
4. Minimum 4+ years of project management experience, agile methodology knowledge, and the ability to mentor developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
5. Proven experience of 4 years or more developing with Node.js applications
6. Good knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+) and in the development of RESTful APIs
7. Knowledge in relational databases and NoSQL database
8. Experience with version control (Git) tools
9. Experience working in agile teams and knowledge of methodology
10. Ability to lead teams, mentor developers and ensure good practices
11. Ability to work with cross-functional teams (DevOps, front-end, bank-end, etc.)
 
Skills -
1. Project Management, Agile/Scrum
2. Node.js, JavaScript, RESTful APIs
3. MySQL, MongoDB or equivalent skills 
4. Ability to mentor developers and collaborate with cross-functional

Desirable:
1. Experience in the integration of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
2. Familiarity with technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
3. English level B2 or higher
4. Any one of the Certification in PMI or Prince2 or CSM or PSM or SAFe is an added advantage
