We are currently seeking a Technology Consultant - Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, SQL, reporting, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and insights, develop dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business decision-making.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into data and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and quality validation.
• Define and track KPIs and business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and technology teams.
• Investigate data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Automate recurring reports and data analysis activities where possible.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain reporting documentation, data definitions, and business rules.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, reporting, and business data interpretation.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, data extraction, data validation, and relational databases.
• 3+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• 2+ years of experience with Excel, data visualization, data reconciliation, and reporting automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar data platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and metadata management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, or other enterprise domains.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
