Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Hardening Compliance Specialist with a solid understanding of secure configuration and hardening standards to support the implementation, validation, and governance of security hardening across Operating Systems, Network Devices, Databases, Virtualization, and Cloud Platforms.
This role will work closely with platform owners, infrastructure teams, security architects, and IT stakeholders to ensure that approved hardening benchmarks are implemented, compliance is measured, deviations are managed, and audit ready evidence is maintained in line with organizational security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Product Hardening & Compliance
• Support the implementation and governance of Product Hardening Compliance (PHC) across multiple technology domains.
• Ensure systems are aligned with approved secure configuration benchmarks (e.g., CIS).
• Validate hardening compliance results from configuration and posture management tools.
• Track and manage deviations, exceptions, false positives, and remediation plans.
• Ensure production systems are validated against defined compliance targets.
Technical Coordination
• Collaborate with technical teams responsible for:
o Operating Systems (Windows, Linux – server & client)
o Network Devices
o Databases
o Virtualization & Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Support onboarding of platforms into hardening and compliance scanning processes.
• Review scan outputs and ensure gaps are addressed with the right technical owners.
Governance, Reporting & Audit Support
• Maintain hardening compliance documentation and evidence.
• Prepare compliance dashboards, scorecards, and status reports for stakeholders.
• Support internal reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure adherence to approved security standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills
Technical Knowledge
• Strong understanding of system, infrastructure, and product hardening concepts.
• Working knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and secure configuration standards.
• Familiarity with security configuration / compliance scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, CIS CAT, Wiz).
• Ability to interpret security scan results and compliance reports.
• Foundational knowledge of:
o OS security hardening
o Network security controls
o Cloud and virtualization security fundamentals
Compliance & Coordination Skills
• Experience in security compliance, governance, or control validation roles.
• Strong stakeholder coordination across infrastructure and security teams.
• Experience with deviation management, risk tracking, and compliance monitoring.
• Clear and structured documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience working within Product Security, GRC, or Security Engineering programs.
• Exposure to security frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience supporting enterprise scale infrastructure environments.

Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Security / IT / Engineering or equivalent.
