We are currently seeking a Z3_Software and application engineering to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) with strong expertise in Pega platform upgrades and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in planning and executing complex Pega upgrades, including migration from legacy Pega versions to the latest Infinity platform, while ensuring application stability, performance, security, and business continuity.

The candidate will work closely with Business Architects, Lead System Architects, DevOps teams, Infrastructure teams, and Business Stakeholders to deliver scalable and future-ready Pega solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Pega Upgrade & Modernization

• Lead end-to-end Pega platform upgrade initiatives from older Pega versions to Pega Infinity.
• Perform upgrade impact assessments and prepare technical remediation plans.
• Analyze deprecated features and implement suitable alternatives.
• Refactor and optimize legacy applications to align with current Pega best practices.
• Resolve upgrade-related guardrail violations and technical debt.
• Validate compatibility of integrations, agents, queue processors, REST/SOAP services, and authentication mechanisms.

Solution Design & Development

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Pega solutions using Pega Platform.
• Configure Case Types, Data Pages, Flows, Decisioning, Integrations, Security, and Reporting components.
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.

Performance & Stability

• Conduct performance analysis and tuning post-upgrade.
• Identify and mitigate application bottlenecks.
• Support load testing and production readiness activities.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Support deployment automation using CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage branch strategies and application packaging.
• Coordinate code migration across environments.
• Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams during upgrade and deployment activities.

Testing & Production Support

• Support SIT, UAT, and Production validation activities.
• Analyze and resolve defects identified during upgrade testing.
• Participate in production implementation and hypercare support.

Mandatory Skills

• CSSA Certification
• Strong hands-on experience in Pega Upgrade Projects
• Experience upgrading applications from Pega 7.x/8.x to Pega Infinity
