- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud, infrastructure, network, platform, and security teams.
Documentation & Process
- Develop detailed low-level and high-level documentation, operational guides, and design artifacts.
- Establish best practices, governance models, and operational runbooks for NSX environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–12+ years of experience in networking, virtualization, or cloud engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise with VMware NSX-T Data Center (NSX-V also beneficial).
- Deep knowledge of:
- Overlay networking (GENEVE), transport zones, segments
- Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, BGP, OSPF
- Distributed Firewall (DFW), Gateway Firewall, IDS/IPS

- Expertise in automation using PowerCLI, Ansible, Python, or Terraform is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps and CI/CD processes is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
- VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
- VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Network Virtualization (VCAP-NV Deploy/Design)
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE (optional but valuable)
