We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

• Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop robust ingestion frameworks and data models.
• Optimize data transformations and system performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data platform components.

• Support data platform migration to a modern target architecture.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.
• Enforce cloud security, data quality, and software best practices.

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Architects, and Product Owners.
• Deliver high-quality data products in an agile framework.

• Experience: 3 to 6 years in large-scale data engineering.
• Cloud: Hands-on expertise with AWS services.
• Data Warehousing: Strong production experience with Snowflake.
• Languages: Proficiency in SQL and either Python, Scala, or Java.
• Methodology: Proven experience working in agile environments.

• Streaming: Apache Kafka, Confluent, or Flink.
• Orchestration & Transformation: Airflow and DBT.
• DevOps: Terraform, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Databases: DynamoDB or other NoSQL solutions.
• Observability: Datadog or similar monitoring tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
