We are currently seeking a Senior Angular Developer to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

Position Overview

As an Angular Developer you will be responsible for creating top quality coding using Angular and front-end best practices. Your role will require you to implement user interfaces for desktop and mobiles apps for our customers.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

• Lead resources and serve as a functional SME across the company through advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking, use of knowledge and experience to lead, architect, and drive broader adoption forward.
• Shows capabilities of performing team leader functions
• Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes.
• Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome.
• Identify and communicate technical risks, issues, and changes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards.

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

• Deep understanding of UI technologies and techniques that includes but not limited to Angular, Redux, NGRX, RXJS, JavaScript, TypeScript. JAVA, WebSphere, Tomcat, JSON, HTML6, CSS and Webservices.
• Strong coding and work experience in Front End coding using Angular, Backbone, Bootstrap
• Experience in testing (Jasmine, Karma, protractor)
• Experience as a SQL developer on relational database.
• Expert knowledge of browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions, and coding for search engine optimization
• Demonstrated experience with Application Servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, Jetty, JBoss) and Web Servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Should have good understanding of web servers such as IIS and Front-end runtimes using Node.js/NPM
• Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
• Continuous Integration Tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, CA Release Automation, CA Server Virtualization, Test Data Manager, OpenShift)

Nice to have:

• Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and/or other software containerization
• Any Certification related to:
  • UI/UX developer, SQL, Testing, DevOps, Scrum, Cloud

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
