Digital Solution Architect Sr. Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead modernization of legacy systems (mainframe, Java/.NET monoliths) into cloud-native, containerized, or microservices-based architectures.
• Define transformation strategies, reference architectures, and phased migration roadmaps.
• Architect solutions using modern platforms and patterns including 12-factor app design, domain-driven design, service mesh, and API-first principles.
• Evaluate and apply modernization options: refactor, rehost, replatform, rebuild, or replace.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, security, and business teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
• Drive adoption of observability, resilience patterns, and DevSecOps practices across modernized landscapes.

Required Skills:

• Deep experience with Java, .NET, legacy tech stacks (COBOL, VB6, etc.), and modern cloud-native paradigms.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong grasp of integration patterns, middleware, and API gateways.
• Knowledge of monolith decomposition, database modernization, and business logic extraction.
• Expertise in technical solutions writing and presenting using tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.
• High level of executive presence to be able to articulate the solutions to CXO level executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Strangler Fig pattern implementations, VMs to containers migration, cloud-native refactoring tools.
• Experience in BFSI or other regulated environments.
