The role requires working from the designated ODCs in Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad and adhering to the assigned 24x7 shift roster.

Functional Role (Job Description)    Job Summary
The Application Support Specialist – Control-M is responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of the Control-M workload automation platform. The role ensures reliable scheduling and execution of enterprise batch jobs, proactive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of batch operations. The specialist works closely with application teams, infrastructure, database, and business stakeholders to maintain high availability and operational excellence across business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
•    Monitor and support daily Control-M batch processing across multiple environments (Production, UAT, and Development). 
•    Ensure successful execution of scheduled jobs, workflows, and business-critical batch cycles. 
•    Investigate and resolve job failures, SLA breaches, and scheduling issues within agreed service levels. 
•    Create, modify, and maintain Control-M job definitions, calendars, scheduling criteria, and workflows. 
•    Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions. 
•    Coordinate with application, database, middleware, server, and network teams to resolve cross-functional issues. 
•    Support application releases by validating and promoting Control-M job schedules and workflows. 
•    Monitor Control-M infrastructure health, agents, communication processes, and server performance. 
•    Execute batch recovery procedures and disaster recovery activities when required. 
•    Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. 
•    Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles. 
•    Participate in 24x7 on-call support and production support rotations as required. 
•    Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

To start with you will focus on recording and analyzing financial transactions with high focus on quality and timeliness and provided an opportunity to grow into bigger roles over a period of time. ,  You will be trained by NTTD to be comfortable operating in a Shared service environment with a heavy customer orientation and willingness to discharge the duties of roles in a measurable, accountable, and challenging environment.

Education Background    •    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. B.Com, Minimum 50% or CGPA equivalent of 50% in Class X, Class XII and 60% or CGPA equivalent of 60%. At the time of the interview there should not be any backlog    •     Control-M certification is desirable. 
ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
