Senior Workday HR Shared Services Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday HR Shared Services Consultant to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of Workday HR Shared Services and HR Service Delivery solutions. This role will partner with HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Technology, and Business Leaders to transform HR service delivery, enhance employee experience, streamline case management processes, and drive operational excellence through automation and self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday HR Shared Services and HR Service Delivery solutions.
- Design and enhance employee and manager self-service capabilities to improve service efficiency and user experience.
- Support HR operating model transformation initiatives and shared services optimization programs.
- Standardize and streamline HR service delivery processes across global business units.
- Should have knowledge of Configuration and maintain Workday Help and HR Service Delivery capabilities, including: Case Management, Knowledge Management, Service Catalogs, HR Support Workflows, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service and Automated Routing and Escalations
- Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, process assessments, and fit-gap analysis.
- Design scalable solutions aligned with HR operational and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for: Case Volumes, Resolution Metrics, SLA Performance, Employee Experience, Service Delivery Effectiveness and HR Operational KPIs
- Provide actionable insights to HR leadership and shared services teams.
- Configure and maintain Workday security roles and permissions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, audit, and governance requirements.
- Support HR controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
- Evaluate Workday releases and recommend adoption of new HR Service Delivery features and capabilities.
- Support production issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR service delivery best practices and Workday capabilities.
- Mentor junior consultants and support project delivery activities.
5+ years of Workday HR Shared Services, HR Service Delivery, or Workday Help experience. And 8+ years of overall HR Technology or HCM consulting experience.Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Workday implementations or transformation programs.Experience supporting global HR Shared Services organizations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and consulting capabilities.
Additional RequirementsMust be willing to work from the office 5 days a week.Must be able to work from Bengaluru, Noida, or Hyderabad.Flexibility to support business-critical activities, including financial close cycles, production deployments, and system upgrades outside regular business hours when required.
