We are currently seeking a Ops / Platform Engineer (Operations Focused) to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Summary:
We are seeking an Operations / Platform Engineer with over 8 years of experience and a strong background in modern IT operations within enterprise environments. This role is focused on ensuring systems remain operational, stable, and up to date in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, structured, quick to react to issues, and diligent in following established procedures, including escalating problems early when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
•Ensure day-to-day stability, reliability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure platforms and systems.
•Conduct routine system administration and operational tasks across Linux environments (command line, troubleshooting, system maintenance).
•Manage and monitor Jenkins pipelines: running jobs, installing/upgrading plugins, monitoring jobs, and performing basic troubleshooting.
•Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including basic operational management.
•Use Ansible to deploy and manage infrastructure through existing playbooks.
•Perform version control tasks with Git and GitHub Enterprise (clone, pull, commit, create PRs).
•Handle tickets and incidents using Jira, ensuring timely responses and accurate tracking.
•Operate in complex enterprise environments involving corporate networks, firewalls, proxies, VMs, and APIs (usage).
•Collaborate within DevOps and Scrum-based teams, contributing to an agile and structured working culture.
•Escalate incidents or issues early according to established procedures when problems arise.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
•Strong experience in IT operations / system administration (enterprise environments preferred).
•Proficiency with Linux systems (command line usage, troubleshooting, system maintenance).
•Jenkins: Pipeline execution, Plugin installation, upgrades, Job monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
•Docker (container management and basic troubleshooting).
•Kubernetes (operational use and troubleshooting).
•Ansible (applying existing playbooks; not expected to author complex logic).
•Git and GitHub Enterprise (basic day-to-day usage).
•Jira (ticket handling, change/incident tracking).
•Experience with enterprise environments: corporate networks, firewalls, proxies, VMs, APIs.
•Familiarity with DevOps and Scrum methodologies.
