Supply Chain Consulting | Quality Engineering | Automation | Integration Testing

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Consultant / QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our Supply Chain Consulting practice and support quality engineering across digital supply chain, planning and enterprise applications. The role will involve testing applications, integration layers and internal digital solutions across areas such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory, S&OP, Logistics and Warehouse Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases for enterprise and supply chain applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity and end-to-end testing.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.

• Perform UI, API and end-to-end automation using appropriate tools and technologies.

• Validate business processes, application behaviour and data flows across multiple systems and environments.

• Perform database and data validation, source-to-target checks and cross-system reconciliation.

• Analyze automation failures, application logs, database results and interface responses to identify root causes.

• Support automated test execution through CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

• Translate business requirements into meaningful functional and automation scenarios and identify quality risks early.

• Manage defects through the complete lifecycle and collaborate with developers, functional consultants and business stakeholders.

• Support SIT, UAT, release validation and production verification activities.

• Prepare QA status, test execution, defect and quality metrics for stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to leverage intelligent and AI-assisted testing to improve coverage and efficiency.

QA & Automation Skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience in QA, Quality Engineering or Test Automation.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, STLC and defect lifecycle.

• Hands-on experience in test automation across web, API or enterprise applications.

• Experience developing and maintaining reusable automation frameworks.

• Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience with version control, CI/CD-based automated test execution and Agile/Scrum delivery.

API, Integration & Data Testing

• Experience with API and web-service testing and validation.

• Ability to validate data flows across applications and integration layers.

• Understanding of JSON/XML, API responses, authentication, error handling and exception scenarios.

• Strong SQL and database validation capabilities.

• Experience with source-to-target validation, data mapping, reconciliation and integration testing.

• Exposure to middleware, batch processes, job schedulers or enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.

Supply Chain Domain & Technology

• Experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics or related enterprise domains is preferred.

• Exposure to one or more supply chain/planning platforms such as o9, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle or equivalent is an advantage.

• Understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory, S&OP/IBP, Forecasting, Replenishment, Order Management, WMS or TMS is preferred.

• Strong enterprise QA professionals without direct supply chain experience may also be considered based on their ability to learn new business processes and platforms.

Consulting & Client-Facing Expectations

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful, risk-based test scenarios.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis.

• Ability to independently drive QA activities for a workstream and proactively manage risks.

• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively with global clients and distributed teams.

• Ability to collaborate across business, functional, technical and development teams.

• Ability to communicate quality risks, testing progress and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

• Willingness and ability to learn new supply chain platforms, business processes and technologies.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Performance, security or mobile testing exposure.

• Cloud platform exposure such as Azure or AWS.

• Containerization or DevOps exposure.

• Experience with enterprise data platforms or data lakes.

• Exposure to batch/job scheduling and production support environments.

• Experience with AI-assisted test design, automation, defect analysis or other intelligent QA capabilities.

• Experience building reusable QA accelerators, frameworks or testing utilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Relevant QA, Automation or Quality Engineering certification is an advantage.

• Supply Chain / Planning certification or domain experience is an advantage.

• Experience in consulting, system integration or enterprise technology environments is preferred.
