We are currently seeking a Senior Frontend to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

The Senior Front-End Developer is a hands-on delivery specialist responsible for building and maintaining high-quality React-based user interfaces within an established front-end architecture and design system.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain React-based front-end applications using TypeScript and agreed UI patterns.
Implement user interfaces from UX designs, wireframes, and specifications provided by Product and Design.
Develop reusable components and views aligned to an existing design system and component library.
Integrate front-end features with backend APIs, handling data loading, state management, and error scenarios.
Write well-structured, maintainable, and testable front-end code following agreed standards.
Contribute unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure UI reliability and regression coverage.
Participate in code reviews, addressing feedback and improving overall front-end quality.
Debug UI and performance issues using browser developer tools and profiling techniques.
Support front-end build and deployment pipelines by following established CI/CD workflows.
Work as part of a Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery of assigned work.
Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly to onshore engineering leads.

Skills

Core front-end engineering
4–7+ years of front-end development experience in commercial environments.
Strong, hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production applications.
Solid understanding of modern state management patterns.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.

UI quality & performance
Experience building accessible, responsive UIs, with awareness of WCAG standards.
Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques (lazy loading, memoisation, rendering optimisation).
Experience with front-end testing practices (unit and E2E).

Tooling & delivery
Experience with common front-end tooling (e.g. Vite/Webpack, linting, test frameworks).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications and Git-based workflows.
Comfortable working from defined design systems, component libraries, and architectural guidance.

Cloud & integration awareness
Experience deploying or supporting front-end applications in cloud-native environments.
Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs and handling API contracts defined by backend teams.
Awareness of security considerations in front-end development (auth flows, token handling, input validation).

Ways of working
Proven experience working in distributed teams.
Able to collaborate effectively with UX, Product, and onshore engineering leads.
Clear written and verbal communication, with proactive escalation of issues.
