We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Senior Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement:
  • Database architectures on AWS, considering scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Database solutions using various AWS services like RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift.
  • Security measures to protect sensitive data stored in databases.
• Manage and maintain:
  • Day-to-day operations of databases, including backups, patching, and performance tuning.
  • User access controls and permissions for databases.
  • High availability and disaster recovery strategies for databases.
• Monitor and optimize:
  • Database performance using tools like CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail.
  • Resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Query performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve:
  • Issues related to database performance, security, and availability.
  • Implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with:
  • Development teams to understand their database needs and design solutions.
  • DevOps engineers to automate database deployments and management tasks.
  • Security teams to ensure adherence to security policies and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date:
  • With the latest AWS database technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in training and certifications to enhance your knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience with designing and managing databases on AWS.
• Strong understanding of database administration principles and practices.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS services like RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift (preferred).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• AWS Certified Database Specialty or equivalent certification (preferred).
