We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

ob Description: Infrastructure Project Manager

Job purpose:

• Role is for Virgin Media O2 client working within the ICED function, and part of the Delivery work-stream in Delivery and Transition team
• Technical/ specialised project management role associated with overall project delivery lifecycle – Idea | Design | Build | Test | Deploy
• Managing the end to end delivery of the infrastructure aspects of IT projects and requests

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Datacentre deliverables against agreed delivery flow on Jira (Workforce management tool) for the incoming infrastructure requests
• Infrastructure requests are if 3 types – Services Requests, Small Works and Projects which are all managed end to end via Jira w.r.t. the project delivery lifecycle
• Define accurate and realistic implementation estimates ( impact assessment of timelines and cost), in relation to projects, small works and service requests
• During the delivery phase ensure that Designs are created, describing how systems and solutions will be implemented 
• When applicable ensure issues are escalated promptly and with sufficient detail to assess potential feature, timeline and cost impact
• Coordinate end to end build and testing of solutions before the handover takes place​

• Working closely with the design and build teams for complete request fulfilment
• Document various process and KB articles as per identified gaps and new identification on Confluence
• Understand, flag and potentially suggest solutions of the key challenges that are currently faced during the day to day job
• Reference industry standard where necessary
• Build trusting relationship with Build Teams, customers and stakeholders
• Making sure processes, operational level agreements, are met for assigned infrastructure requests
• Monitoring and reporting on the service levels
• Identifying, assessing, and controlling risks
• Send periodic communications and reports on the progress, risks, actions issues and escalations

Skills:

• Experienced project manager with background in infrastructure
• Good understand of legacy data centre terminologies and ways of working
• Good understanding of the various cloud platforms and technologies
• Hands on working experience on MS Office, Remedy, Jira and Confluence
• Team player and ready to take on ownership of various types of infrastructure requests
