We are currently seeking a Z5-Product Owner (PO) to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner who will drive product outcomes by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for engineering and design teams. You will own the product backlog, prioritize work based on value, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features through close collaboration with stakeholders, Scrum teams, and users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the product backlog (create, refine, prioritize, and accept user stories).
  • Define product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Gather requirements through stakeholder workshops, user interviews, and data insights.
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, usability).
  • Lead backlog grooming/refinement, sprint planning support, and scope management.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, UX, QA, and Scrum Master to ensure smooth execution.
  • Validate delivered work through UAT, demos, and acceptance testing; sign off on releases.
  • Measure impact using KPIs/OKRs, analytics, and user feedback; drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs; communicate progress and changes transparently.
  • Ensure documentation of product decisions, workflows, and release notes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong Product Owner experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Excellent requirement elicitation and story writing skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills (value vs effort, risk, dependencies).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and QA processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Domain experience in manufacturing / enterprise platforms / data products (optional).
  • Familiarity with API-first products, microservices, and integration concepts.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA, Amplitude, Power BI) and experimentation.
  • Working knowledge of UX practices (wireframes, usability testing).
  • Certifications: CSPO / PSPO (optional).

Tools (Common)

  • Jira / Azure DevOps, Confluence
  • API tools (Postman), basic SQL/BI (optional)

Key Deliverables

  • Product roadmap, prioritized backlog, user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Sprint-ready backlog, release notes, UAT sign-off
  • KPI/OKR tracking and outcome reporting
