NTT DATA Services is currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Developer for our growing team in Romania.

Overview

As an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Developer, you will promote the infrastructure as code for a major customer in the Automotive sector. You will have the opportunity to innovate and increase value for our customers by designing and supporting cloud solutions within our engineering team.

Primary responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure support based on agreed architecture and design framework to support business goals and objectives while adhering to the principles of IT architecture and information security (loosely coupled architecture and secure design).
• Develop and enhance infrastructure automation, including CI / CD channels using vRO, vRA, IAAS (Terraform), Ansible, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipeline, and PowerShell. Troubleshoot existing cloud incident solutions.
• Design, configure and code automation scripts when delivering Infrastructure services (e.g. provisioning, decommissioning)
• Providing Sprint work items as part of the Cloud Engineering team, working autonomy in dealing with key stakeholders, ensuring that all decisions are compromised, and managing controlled delivery.
• Accepts and promotes a culture of lifelong learning where new skills and knowledge are developed with a special focus on automation and reliability engineering.
• As a cloud engineer, you will use software delivery principles and best practices to create useful infrastructure modules, such as code, such as templates, and terraform modules.
• By automating infrastructure deployment and testing, you are responsible for providing seamless services to our customers.

Key Skills

• Experience building and supporting cloud-based infrastructure solutions (vRA/vRO, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, while Azure experience is most useful). Proven experience building and supporting mission-critical business applications in the cloud (Azure and AWS).
• Background in PaaS and IaaS cloud solutions.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of scripts (JSON, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, Terraform).
• Experience working in the DevOps / Agile environment.
