We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).
We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail‑oriented Business Analyst with exceptional communication and facilitation skills to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, functional users, and the development team. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and smooth execution within Agile delivery cycles.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in facilitating meetings, driving clarity in requirements, and translating business needs into well‑structured Features and User Stories in Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Collaborate with business units, product owners, and functional users to gather, refine, and document business requirements.
Conduct interviews, workshops, process reviews, and workflow analyses to understand current and future business needs.
Break down complex processes and problems into clear, actionable requirements.
Documentation & Agile Delivery
Translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
Ensure User Stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
Maintain and update backlogs, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team.
Communicate requirements, scope, expectations, and constraints clearly and effectively.
Facilitate discussions to remove ambiguity and ensure shared understanding across all teams.
Meeting Facilitation
Organize and lead key Agile ceremonies, including requirement workshops, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and demo reviews.
Prepare meeting agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions to ensure alignment and progress.
Process Improvement
Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
Assist in defining business rules, workflows, and system enhancements.
Support continuous improvement practices within the Agile team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC concepts.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps for backlog management, User Story creation, and tracking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Experience translating business requirements into actionable specifications for technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Confluence / SharePoint
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Process mapping tools: Visio, Lucidchart, Miro
Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis tools (nice to have)
